STUDENT CONFERENCES 2010

Throughout 2010, Leading Edge Education will be conducting a number of conferences for both students and teachers, covering each of the HSC syllabus topics in Economics. Each session focuses on bringing students up to date with the latest statistical data and current issues, plus each student receives comprehensive study notes from the presenters.

About our Presenters

• Tim Dixon is the founder of Leading Edge Education. He came first in the HSC in 1987 and holds a First Class Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Sydney and a Law Degree from the University of NSW. Tim has conducted courses and written text books and student study guides for Economics students since 1992 and is the co-author of the Australia in the Global Economy textbook. A dynamic and innovative presenter – Tim brings a unique blend of education and entertainment to his presentations.
• Tim Riley is the Director of the Economic Literacy Centre and holds a Masters Degree in Economics from Macquarie University. Tim is the editor of Current Economics and is renowned for his commitment to economic literacy and excellence in education through his involvement in various seminars and publications, including his HSC Economics Text. Tim contributes a great depth of experience as a teacher, HSC marker and author to his conference presentations.
